(Union, KY) - A teen who was hit by a car and killed as he tried to cross the street in Union was
going to visit a friend.
According to the Kentucky Enquirer, 18-year-old Glennis "James" Christophel was just dropped off at
the intersection of U.S. 42 and Mount Zion Road in Union on Wednesday evening when he tried to cross
the intersection.
Eyewitnesses said it appeared the car that hit the teen from Anderson Township, Ohio was speeding
and sent Christophel flying for at least a dozen feet.
The driver, 18-year-old Jason Chisholm, of Florence, is not currently facing any charges.
